Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer With Three Rivers Youth

Three Rivers Youth is a firm believer of the idea that one person can make a difference. We realize the contributions volunteers make to non-profit agencies. Because of this understanding, we are always looking for interested groups or individuals to participate in service projects or as active ongoing volunteers. All volunteers must display a level of maturity in order to work with our youth, as well as a desired interest in helping runaway, abused, homeless or neglected youth. Law requires that volunteers who at anytime will be working alone with youth (Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities) must have their Acts 33/34 Clearances(Online criminal https://epatch.state.pa.us/), F.B.I. and Fingerprints (Child Abuse and Criminal Background Check, Online FBI fingerprint http://www.pa.cogentid.com click on DPW) and attend 40 hours of orientation training.

“To leave the world a better place – whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or an improved social condition – that is to have succeeded. That only one life breathed easier because you lived – that is success”
